SarnarSchourt Records presents Spirito Libero, the third album from Shantifax, a unique ethno-trance and organic downtempo project from the Italian Alps. In the last few years Shantifax has performed many live concerts with a full band, an experience that has helped to shape the songs on this release. The presence of real-world instrumentation is heard throughout the journey, from the ambient opening through guitar-laden progressive tribal trance into a luscious downtempo conclusion. Mastering by Hector Ovnimoon with cover art by SarnarSchourt.

Ten downtempo tracks from ten different producers for our utmost enjoyment. My preference goes to Yggdrasil, Radioactive Sandwich, Globular and Yechidah, yet somehow I like all the tracks (except maybe Mahaon's: please don't put heavily distorted guitars into downtempo!). 7.5/10 sergpot
